I just got a HELOC from Ditech using stated income, and mid-score over 680.
I was amazed. many banks/lenders told me that no one was doing them now, in this credit crunch.
but i applied to Ditech Aug 20, 07 and did my closing yesterday (Aug 27).

BINGO!  (Except this time I won a bag of lemons!)  3 out of 6 of my cards have a larger than I'd like but the other two small.  What a crappy reason to drastically lower one's credit score.  I don't want to play this game's too depressing.

Househunter... if it makes you feel any better, I took the same hit. Under 9% utl, but balances on more than half of my cards and 2 new accounts/inq TU 647 to 614 Smiley Sad
