Do keep in mind that the highest PLUS Score is 830, not 850.

Right, and the lowest is 330, not 300.

So there are only 500 PLUS points to play with, while there are 550 FICO points.

That means 1 PLUS point = 1.1 FICO points.

So, even assuming that PLUS was an accurate representation, it would still be different from FICO due to the different scale.

FICO = (PLUS - 330) * 1.1 + 300
PLUS = (FICO - 300) / 1.1 + 330

I think I'm reading too much into this.

Has anyone compared their CreditSecure (Amex) Plus scores and FICOs for a considerable lengh of time?  I ask because my Plus scores are very, very close to my FICO scores, and an awful lot cheaper.

EXF   734                         EXP   732
EQF  787                         EXP   783
TUF   792                         TUP  789

That is pretty close - way closer than my TC scores ever were

Because I'm bored...here's what MV's FICO scores would look like when converted to the PLUS scale of 330-830.

EX: 734 on FICO scale = 725 on PLUS scale (actual PLUS = 732)
EQ: 787 on FICO scale = 773 on PLUS scale (actual PLUS = 783)
TU: 792 on FICO scale = 777 on PLUS scale (actual PLUS = 789)

So, when you account for the fact that PLUS is on a different scale than FICO, the differences in MV's examples are actually magnified, and they're not as close as they appear on first glance.

Well my EQ plus score went up a point when an inq dropped off  Smiley Very Happy
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

I threw FAKOs into as another measurement tool.  I'm all over the board!
