Positive effects of new accounts and my new credit cards

I just got approved for a

$500 capitol one card

$1500 barclay's

$5000 visa through CU

All of these are within this month what kind of impact can I expect from such additions as my current score is 695 equifax before these cards?

my current cards are

care credit 1698 balance  --> 4000 limit

orchard 200 balance --> 900 limit

lowes 0 balance --> 1100 limit

walmart 0 balance --> 800 limit

barclays Authorized User 860balance -->1800 limit

jcpenny 0 balance -->1700 limit

15% util now instead of 26%

My goal is to get the capitol one venture credit card sometime .. but that requires excellent credit what ever that is Smiley Tongue

Only a guess....if your AAoA didn't change and you didn't get rebucketed, I predict less than a 10 point drop, with a positive gain within a year.

I'm sure it hurt my AAoA but the long term goal is more important to me because of the utilization of all the cards is going down and I wanted higher limits. I'm not sure how important AAoA is?

I don't think I got rebucketed since my derogs are still on there.

It depends on your credit. Based on the fact you have other CCs, the impact I'd guess would be a year at most (more you have, the less the risk of dropping by a year or more). Let's say you did drop by 6 months and that lowered it from 6 to 5, for example. Within 6 months, you'd be back where you were anyway.

Got it ... I used to have my fico which told me AAoA guess now I'll need to do this myself on a spreadsheet... Smiley Sad

Congrats on the awesome CU card and CL!  Nice!

Without doing the math, it seems like it might be time to revisit being an AU on such a high utilization Barclay's card.  How is that card impacting your length of credit history?  It may (or may not) be time to evaluate its usefulness to you.

Barclays is my wife's card, I'm an authorized user but she called yesterday and closed it off so that her balance is not affecting me anymore.

Hopefully it'll go away
