Understanding FICO® Scoring

I just signed up for this website and ditched Equifax.com

It says I have a late payment 1 year 4 months ago on the main recap screen. I looked at all of my accounts and none of them are late last year. The most recent late is 2008. Any idea how I find out this information? I'm 99.9% sure I wasn't late on anything since 2008.

Look for anything on the accounts page of your FICO report showing a baddie (indicated by the red flag) that reported sometime around April or May of 2011. Zero in on the reported date or DOLA.

I went backed and triple checked every account listed and nothing is from 2011. The earliest date is 2008. Who should I speak to about this, and do you think this is effecting my score?

Yes, 8 in total. None of which are in 2011, all in 2008.

But do any of the 8 show any dates (e.g. "Status as of" Date, Date of Last Activity, Date Closed, or within the 7-yr payment history box) beyond 2008? Even if an account goes bad the account will update for years later and that can impact the Late mention in the pos/neg items that hurt your score.

You nailed it, my car loan was paid in full April 2011 which had the negative items from 2008.
