Removed Medicals, relevant or not?

Ok, so can you guys first confirm for me because it's been a while and only happened once, when a medical bill hit my credit report, didn't that make my fico go down, its been a couple of years, but neverless at some point im sure it took me down a few notches.  Secondly, I have fought and fought it and finally gotten it removed as it was paid wayyyyback in 2003.  Now that it has been removed, does that automatically improve fico, since I never should have taken a hit for it in the first place?

Thanks for your feedback in advance!

Re: Removed Medicals, relevant or not?

If this CA negatively impacted your FICO score, and I'm sure it did, and if it has been removed, then your score has already changed for the better.

A CA's damage, medical or otherwise, varies based on how it is reporting, the age of the debt, and is based on how many baddies you had prior to its addition.
