I'm curious if anyone knows what would cause this...
A judgement popped up on all three of my credit reports. It lowered the experiian and transunion scores, but increased the equifax score.
I had the judgement vacated, and removed from my credit reports. My transunion and experian went back to where they were and the equifax score dropped back to where it was. No other changes occurred on my EQ score, so that was the only factor.
Can anyone think of a reason why an unpaid judgement would actually increase a score?
Not off the top of my head, no. I think that is a first for me.
It runs counter to what I would have expected... I figured someone might have an answer since it made no sense to me.
