In preparation for submitting my mortgage application, I called Equifax and Transunion yesterday to remove the dispute comments off of my reports. Well, this morning, I received a Score Watch alert that "I am disputing the account and a reinvestigation is in process". As a result, my score fell 14 points! What the heck?!?
Has this happened to anyone else? And will I get those 14 points back?
