EQ is tough on me also.  Haven't gotten a score change since  a year ago when I got 2 pts.

If the inquiry led to a new account, your average age of accounts would have decreased - that could lower your score...

If your're in the 800 range, an inquiry can hit you for 15-20. However, 15 points sounds like a bucket hit.
