I had the following scores, all FICO:
TU: 638
EQ: 607
EX: 599
I hadn't checked them in awhile as I was using a recommended credit repair business - which was recommended by my mortgage company.
Today my scores are:
TU: 599
EQ: 590
EX:578
Inquries have fallen off, I've not applied for new credit, and all my bills have been paid on time. There aren't any new collections or entries.
Did the credit repair place doing a hard hit bring down my scores like this? Maybe the fact that they've disputed so many items?
Thanks!
Did the repair business provide those scores? If not, where did they come from? If so, what is the business's name?
Are you 100% the latter set are FICO scores?
My apologies for the delay in my reply.
It was one of the Kroll reports, like they run for mortgage purposes. The repair business provided it. And they also charged me $99 out of the blue when they said they could not automatically pull my reports. So that wasn't cool.
So, I am assuming they're FICO. It listing the scoring methods like Beacon, Fair Issac 2, etc.
The name of the credit repair place is The Credit Pros.
Funny thing is, I've not seen an impact on Credit Karma - although that's a FAKO score.
