Re: Should I remove my authorized user account?

AAoA includes ALL opened and closed OC accounts (basically all of your accounts listed on your Accounts page of your FICO report). Calculate how many months each have been opened from the reported opened date to this month (doesn't matter if closed or not). Then add the months up for all accounts. Divide the sum of the month by the number of accounts to create an average. Convert back into years and round down to the nearest whole number. That is the AAoA as FICO reads it (always a whole number).

Thanks! So it includes Student Loan and Auto accounts, not just Credit Cards? One report shows a utility bill too. Does that count?

Re: Should I remove my authorized user account?

Thanks everyone for the advice. I removed the account and it fell off the Equifax report today. My score jumped from 723 to 740! Unfortunatly a month too late for the low interest rates Smiley Sad.
