Thanks for both of your posts I have read the credit 101 and I am going to read the rest of the links in your signature.
First question about utilization - is it collective or per card? If you add up my personal stuff then I am around the 20% mark on utilization, if you add in my parents card which I have to keep since I use it to pick things up for my parents quite often but the balance is usually low and paid off each month so that doesn't concern me. If it is per card then I have some work to do on one of my cards.
