TU 98 or 04

Is the TU fico score from this site, the 98 or 04 and what is the difference?

04 is newer but most lenders still use 98 and that is what is used here at myfico. Some of us think that Walmarts fico is 04 but we never got real confirmation on that.

Actually fewer and fewer lenders are using TU98. Most seem to have finally adopted TU04.

The score from Walmart is TU08.
