So I have the Walmart card and get the free "newer" TU score with that. I did pull my score from this very website today and it matched the walmart TU score. I went to my local bank to take out a small loan today, they pulled TU and my score was 40 points higher than what myfico site says and walmarts. So are which score is right? I assume possibly the banks are not using the newer fico scoring yet? The score I received today was an actual fico score. I used this same bank to get my car loan back in may, and at that time the fico score from this site and what the bank pulled were exactly the same at that time.
So, just wondering on anyone's thoughts?
Thanks!

They are all correct but these are different versions of the TU FICO.
Here at myFICO you'll get the older TU98 .
Your bank likely pulled the newer TU04.
The TU FICO from Walmart is the newest TU08.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

It's likely a coincidence that your myFICO and Walmart scores were identical. Marine beat me to it.
I have a ? about TU scores
yesterday I applied for a CC and the report said my TU Score was a 487
I just tried for another CC the report said my TU Score was a 544
I am trying to figure out the big difference? within 24 hours

If one pulled TU98 and the other one TU04 or TU08 there will likely be a difference. Or one CCC might have used a CC-enhanced version of TU.
What issuers did you apply with if you don't mind saying? Do you know what version of TU was pulled each time? Did they send a letter telling you what TU score they used?
It's often not easy to figure out variances in scores.

AMEX said this:
your FICO score was 487. The FICO score ranges from 300 to 850
Barclay's said this:
Your credit score: 544
Date: 11/26/2011
Scores range from a low of 300 to a high of 850

Are you sure Amex pulled TU? I always thought they pulled EX. Barclays pulls TU.
I thought the letter said TU but when I get home I will look it back up and make sure
I could be my bad, I am under so much stress lately I could have read it wrong
It's possible they pulled TU, but worth a check. I'd guess at least 90% of their pulls are EX, but it doesn't preclude them from pulling one of the other two.
You were right I did look at it wrong but the upside is I now have all 3 scores
and will NOT have anymore Inquires until this time Next year when I hope
my scores are where I would like for them to be
