Am I assuming correctly that we are talking about open accounts?

Everything I have read indicates the thin/thick scorecard assignment considers open and closed accounts combined.

Not sure where the term Buckets/bucketing came from but, I prefer to use the terms: Scorecards for segmentation and bins for factor groupings or level designations.
