Too close to zero is zero?

Last month my CU was very low - less than 1%. This month with more accounts showing a $0 balance and a CU of less than 0.01% (yes, that's% )my EQ score dropped a few points. I normally try keep a small balance on a couple of cards after the statements but forgot and PIFed almost everything before the statements cut. Since there were no other changes, it appears that there is a threshold where CU less than a certain percentage is considered 0 utilization. Does this make sense?

Re: Too close to zero is zero?

Every test I have seen concluded that any non-zero balance was not 0% utilization.

That said, everyone has a sweet spot in the 1-9% range, it's simply possible that you were better off at 3 or 4% or whatever.
