If your profile is a bit thin and not seasoned, a single card in the 50% to 69 % UT range may cost you 10 points but the bigger factor is aggregate UT going over 9%. AG UT going from under 9% to over 10% but less than 29% may cost 20 points.
For optimal score from a utilization perspective keep all individual cards under 29% AND aggregate utilization under 9%. Aggregate utilization is given more weight that is individual card utilization but, both are important.

I agree that taking aggregate across a threshold (9%) as well as taking an individual card over 50% could result in a drop like that, especially on a younger/thinner file.
Also OP, how many total cards do you have out of curiosity? If the number is low, say just a couple, if you have 50% or more of your cards reporting a balance there's a chance another slight ding is being built into that drop as well.
