Utilization/Number of Revolving Accounts with Balances Question

[ Edited ]

HI

I have 12 open revolving account in good standing... 4 have a considerable balance (30-40% util).  The fifth account has a $1k limit but is only reporting a $3 balance.  Is it hurting me because its not reporting a zero balance (considering the other accounts with balances)

Re: Utilization/Number of Revolving Accounts with Balances Question

What's hurting you is the number of cards reporting balances and the util reported. If the 5th card reports zero, it will help but the reality is you still have 3 more reporting.

What is your total util? Are you trying to go for maximum FICO scoring?
