Hi all, my Venture card was opened 3/18/15. 2nd statement cut 5/4/15. Reporting to 3 bureaus as of 5/6/15. Still no CLI luv that many have experienced. It hasn't been 60 days yet. Some have better luck after 60 days of account opening.
On a side note, sure hope the new Venture account with 15k CL helps my scores. Already took hit from hard inquiry. Credit is fairly new(1 YR and newer for personal credit, and nearly 2 years as AU on 2 accounts). I'm thinking it won't hurt my AAOA too much at this point. Scores already decreased up to 25 points(worst hit was EQ) from 3 recent inquiries and a $14 balance reporting on 1 card. My BofA 123 with 3k CL should also hit bureau soon. I have been gardening since 4/15/15, so if I take further hits with new accounts, I'm thinking my scores will recover and then some by 12/2015. Should I worry at this point? I charge about $2000 monthly between 5 cards and PIF, sometimes twice monthly. Thanks in advance for any personal experience or advice.
Don't sweat the new accounts and inq's unless you're looking to buy a house/car in the near future. Your scores should be fine by December assuming nothing else changes in your credit reports. Keep up the great work
Thank you 04Cobra. My only concern is my BofA secured card with 3k CL , and wanting early graduation. I'm hoping it graduates by 9 months. I plan on charging $1500 monthly and PIF before statement cuts. I may take the hit for a review at 6 months. By then, I will have built a pretty strong profile and feeling pretty confident that I will at least keep 3K CL. However, I'll ask for 10K, especially since I have a 15k Venture now.
Sounds like a plan and you're quite welcome. Hope everything works out with BOA

My BoA was 1000 and not other card with higher limit reported and they only approved me for 2000 after asked for early graduation. My DW increased the limit to 5k at around 6 months (HP) and it auto-unsecured at 9 months and kept the limit (was her highest limit then by far).
I'm sure if you keep using the card and after the 15k Venture report for several months, you could get a good CLI, so 10k is possible. Good luck.
