What happens if all your tradelines are signature/world cards in terms of utilization/FICO purposes?

In a situation where an individual does not have any loans mortgages etc. just credit cards, and all the persons cards are signature/world cards with no-preset limit....all cards are coded correctly and are coded as "Open" so utilization does not count.

In such a case, how does FICO calculate utilization? If it can't, are you penalized?

Thanks!

Interesting question! I don't think that we've ever had anyone with nothing but no-limit-reported cards.

If this is your situation, would you like to be a guinea pig for the forums? I'm sure we can get you a good deal on FICO-branded cedar shavings! Smiley Very Happy
