Thought I'd update for my own future reference.
My current FICO EQ just took a dive to 626- The new subaru loan hit. I have so many inquiries now (car, house) and 3 new accounts). My November Walmart FICO score is 648. My EXPERIAN Auto Enhanced was 714 in October (WOW!
Got CLI's from JCP & Carecredit last week - both up 1k. Also Walmart moved me up to 800 from 400 and I didn't even ask. (So tempting to go buy a TV for Xmas with their 6 months no interest, but DH is in construction and work is really slow for him.)
What I'm doing now is continuing to work on getting rid of the collections and the lates on my closed student loan. Once those are taken care of, only the BK will be there. I come up with a new idea to get rid of these all the time - and I'm certain they'll be gone one way or the other.
My credit reports don't even look like they belong to the same person if you compare the current ones to last November.
Mortgage still hasn't reported. Anxious to see how that turns out.
I think it will be at least two years before I join the 700 club. But I'll get there one way or the other.
Ive been rebucketed, I guess to a bucket that has a mortgage. Next month I could be up to 705 when my balances report. Got lazy this month and didn't do the statement game. Prior to mortgage, the sim said the highest I could get in 2 years was in the 660 range. woohoo.
So anyone interested in their scores once they enter the land of mortgage should know you are likely to get rebucketed, at least I THINK i was.
Interestingly, what's hurting my score is collection + PR, and what's helping my score is Collection + PR are older.
Hopefully next month I'll see that 700 the score sim promises!
