Re: When do FICO scores appear for people new to credit?

If a credtor reported their account to a CRA in Nov/2009, then you have six months of credit history as of May//2010.

No, a creditor does NOT have to post monthly updates with a CRA.

But if they reported an account open date in Nov/2006, regardless of updates, it is an open account in your CR.

FICO looks at six months AFTER the date of estalishing credit.  Give it until after May

turns out that you were right. It takes six months, not six statements. I got my FICO score today (EQ: 676, TU: 707). Now I can give this lame thread a rest Smiley Very Happy
