I am looking to purchase another report got TU allready and I was wondering which credit reporting agency is used hit most of the time with inquiries from gov/private/loan companies?
Thanks
In my personal experience Equifax is hit most often with inquires. I have recently been applying for credit cards and all but a few had hit Equifax.
It will really depend on what kinds of credit your are apping for. Try whogavemecredit.com you can search by lender and see what report they pulled.
I think it also has some to do with what part of the country you live in.
You could always try posting what you plan on or have applied for and let others give you their expeirience with what report was pulled.
For me, mostly Experian, followed by Equifax.
As far as whogavemecredit.com, it has been wrong for me almost every single time. I applied for a Barnes and Noble card, thinking someone was FINALLY going to pull TransUnion. No luck, they pulled Equifax.
Kinda suspect it depends on what part of the country you're in. Most CU's pull EQ, exclusively. After that, I find EX gets pulled most often - I am in the NE.
Good question! In my experience, it has been EQ, EX, then TU respectively.
