Really? All this time I thought it was 1898.

hotrodcrazy, interesting about no score change for you when you hit 19 years. I wonder if your credit profile is so stable that there wasn't really anything to help (or hurt) when you went up another year?
I think you may be right about being stable. I don't apply for credit, I have more than enough. ( I did consider US Banks Harley-Davidsons card a few days ago but decided against that ). I have never missed a payment on anything. I only have one inquiry on EX that will drop this Dec. EQ and TU have none. Nothing changes on my report other than everything getting older. ( including ME ). You are far better at this stuff than I am. At my age, if I figure something out today, I will forget it by tomorrow. Anyway, I enjoy learning something new each day on the forums, and reading everyone's posts.
I notice your utilization on your high score is 1% and 0%
on the lower score. I find my score will go down if I don't use my credit.
0 balance does not help.
Thanks,casinoannie97.
I noticed that . I wish I could get it to go up from where I started or at least , return to the score I started with.
I've tried different %'s of utilization. Has your score ever reset after you pay down utilization?
BTW, I pay in full every month ,but it seems like I'm spinning my wheels right now.
Nothing to do but bide my time until my score decides to go up again.
My EQ score will change if
I carry balances on more than 2 accounts
and also when my utilization changes. Also if
I show 0 balances. I lose 2 or 3 pts and gain them
back next month.
EQ 802
Thanks, casinoannie97.
Your last post disclosed what I had failed to realize.
I was so busy studying the changes of different %'s of utilization that I never gave the FICO score
one or two months to adjust, or,as you said gain them back
I'll try letting 0% report for two months and see what happens.
yes but carrying 0 balance is not good. you will
lose points. Carry at least a small balance on
one card.
