Why would TU # be drastically lower than the others?

My Equifax and Experian #'s are 60 and 70 pnts. higher than TransUnion's, respectively.

The 10 pnt diff btwn EQ and EX seems reasonable, a 70 point swing seems out of whack.

Is this a common phenom?

Re: Why would TU # be drastically lower than the others?

It appears that TU continues to weigh my BK'd accounts from 2004 more heavily than the others.

 Thanx

Re: Why would TU # be drastically lower than the others?

With all three reports laid out in front, look for obvious differences. If these are FICO reports, I'd look for the number of TLs reporting, AAoA (pg 2 or 3), balances, baddies on EX and EQ but not TU. Late placements. Open dates. Worst delinquency. Comments. Open vs. closed. Reported CLs. Credit-At-A-Glance page. And so on.

70 points is a little high. However, not every report is alike. There are many more factors than the above mentioned, but these are all suspect.
