Update. Just in case anyone was interested.

So, we wrote a Good Will letter to the creditor/CEO/etc. asking for well, some good will.

We just got a call back yesterday after about 12 days. I was jsut losing hope. They agreed to remove the ding from my report. They said it might take 30 to 60 days to be removed, but it will be removed.

So, this is a success story. Always pay your bills on time.
