Will notifying Experian about expiring tradeline do me any good?

Cap1 CO on Experian report (pulled December of last year) shows 'remains on report until 9/08'. Is there anything to contacting Experian with copy of that and 'as per your report this item is due to expire on 9/1/08'?

It will go away on EXP's September maint.
