And this site does not illegally do it for you. You have to at one point Manually type in your own information to get the reports. Since you are the "owner of the account" that is requesting the credit copies, it is you that is getting them, even though it is through this site.
Example again. If you call someone on the telephone, it is you calling them even though the phone lines belong to the phone company. It was your action that started it.
When you apply, it is your action that started an application. It ends there.
Then it is the "banks" action that requested your credit file.
