after divorce issues

I always had my account hooked up to my savings in case anything slipped through. When I started banking with Wachovia the said it would be hooked to a credit card. During my divorce I realize the errors of my ways. Their rate to overdraw was like 35% plus a service fee. The man helping me leaked that this was a bank of america card! I ran as fast as I could to cancel it. I am pleased that Wachovia has now attatched my overdraft to my savings again. The overdrafts were a result of my divorce. I am on my feet now and concerned that I just cancelled that Bank of America card because of how it may affect my credit. Should I reinstate a new card like they are suggesting or just sit tight while everything settles. Did I do the wrong thing?

Re: after divorce issues

A BofA card isn't going to hurt your credit--provided you don't pay late or carry a high balance, of course.
