cc reported error

Hi received a score alert reagarding and an additional 300 dollars on a 13k card. however this card was not mine, it was my fiance. ( it was placed jointly as an error by someone on the phone.) I called the cc company and they will remove it. I specified that it be enitrely deleted not marked closed or anything else. Is there anything else that I should do.
any guesses as how this should raise my score??credit currently is 538 , and I have activily been doing repair. fingers crossed. I am waiting for scores to go up as we speak.

Re: cc reported error

A 300 balance on a 13K CL is not going to tank you score- unless there is derog (late payments) on it.

This is especially true when score is low-

Re: cc reported error

If the CCC stays true to their word it should be gone within 30 days. Have you read the Scoring 101 thread?
