That info seems to be part of the FICO mystery, as far as I know.  I would focus more on having low util on the individual CCs, and then you'll also be low overall.

I have played with this.

I get dinged the same having one card over 80-90% with an overall UTL of 30% as I did with an overall utl of 80%.

I had a increase when UTL on all cards were under 50% UTL even though the amount of revolving debt had not increased.

I had another BIG jump when Overall UTL was under 30% and nothing was over 50% UTL.

I find out this week when all accounts are under 10% with 4/6 with a balance.

IMHO- you will get -points for having high utl on any revolving account.

This has been a major issue with Crap One-
The CRA's are subtracting points even though you are not even close to your credit limit-

I recieved notification from Cap One that they will be starting to report max limit soon.  Can anyone else confirm this?

Actually they said January but did not give a year. so you never know lol
