How often do the credit bureaus update scores?  Is there a set date each month?

Your FICO score is a snapshot of what is happening to your CR at the time the report is pulled. Conceivably, your score can change everyday.

 

If you are pulling your score from a source other than myFICO, then take heed. Scores purchased through any other source may not be FICO scores, but a fake score. The CRAs (except for EQ) sell their own version that tries to mimic FICO, but are not accurate or the same.

Each of your open accounts should update when the monthly statements for each post, or pretty soon after. There are some exceptions, but this holds for most.

Basically, you should think of it as an ongoing, rolling update. Your reports will shift as each account posts new figures on its own schedule.
