fico score

Hello all.  I was wondering what minimum score is needed to qualify for a "prime" credit card.  I have one unpaid lien from 2003.  Would that hurt my chances with a prime lender?

Prime is usually 660-680 somewhere; each lender draws their line in the sand slightly differently.

Score is an issue, but also what's on your report is an issue.

There's one prime lender I wasn't able to get a card from until after I paid a small outstanding chargeoff. Even though my FICO score dropped after the payment, before I was declined and after I was not.
