how does public records affect my Fico score?
I have two judjements from 04/2003 that are showing in my credit.

They are five years vold and will count against you as long as they are there.  The older they get the less they hiurt and the amount of damage done depends on the rest of your file.

It is another fatal baddie that can haunt you for years and years.

It is a red flag waved in the eyes of any prospective creditor.

They need to be dealt with.

how about if you pay them . can they be taken out.......but they still shows in my credit as(not paid)

A paid PR will remain on your report even after it is paid.  Also, FICO does not distinguish between paid and unpaid PRs.

Yes, it still deducts points for having a PR, even if it is paid.
