new scoring model

Does anybody know what is going to change on the new scoring system?

I have a middle of 679 and 2.5 years of excellent pay and low balances on card.

Seems to be a big unknown.

There is a major "sticky thread" at the top of the "Credit In The News" forum. All updates are there for FICO 08.

It's not in effect yet.

Re: new scoring model

Other changes will be included in FICO 08--not just the AU issue. Although the AU issue, IMHO, is the MOASC (Mother Of All Scoring Changes).

There will also be more pools so in theory some who have thin files, new files and such will now get scored higher. I suppose that is intended to offset the damage that will ensue for millions who are AUs on their spouses CCs.
