"Time since your most recent account opening is very recent"??

I know I saw this answer in this  forum before, but I did a search and couldn't find it again.

How long before a new account is not considered "new or recent" for credit scoring?

It is my first reason (I think that means most important) for my score not being higher.

Thanks

Your score rebounds twice actually. 2 months and 12 months. But you will see that message if you have no other factors for 12 months. And believe it or not, sometimes longer. But the point loss is regained fully after 12 months.

It's actually more complicated than this, but that is a general idea.

After two years they really start to help the scoring.
