updated fico scores

I'm new to fico scores.

I see mine has changed in the last couple of days, for the better.

How long before the lenders see the new score?  I need to apply for a student loan.

Re: updated fico scores

Welcome to the forum glad to have you join us Smiley Happy

Scores are only a snapshot of the instant they're pulled so when a lender pulls in your case for the student loan they will see whatever score you have at that moment.

3 minutes later it would change and probably be a lower score due to the HP on your credit from a lender

So let's say they pulled scores 10 minutes ago and applied after that.

They would see the same scores you did providing they're pulling the same Fico model and that's where a difference could come into play because they are over 50 models of Fico scores out there....

Edit congrats on the score increase

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: updated fico scores

No

It just depends on what model the lender pays to pull and the lender won't inform you of that until they pull and send you doc's of either a denial or approval with the terms of the deal based on what the score was at that time

Good luck and also visit our student loan forum for more tricks and tips
