what type of scores are these?

Quick Quesion!    Are the scores on here Equifax Beacon and Transunion Empirica???


Starting Score: 568
Current Score: EQ624, TU630 TU04 606, EX640
Goal Score: 700

They are FICO scores. Each CRA has their own brand name for their version of FICO. So, "Beacon" is the branding for an EQ FICO. This website offers Beacon 5.0 for your EQ FICO and is used by most all mortgage lenders out there. "Empirica" is the branding for your TU FICO. This website offers "Empirica 98". Most mortgage lenders use a newer version called Empirica 04.

I found out that my TU98 is about 16 points higher than TU04....BOO! Smiley Sad

Yea, it's a YMMV thing but for many their TU04 is lower than their TU98. Mine was 10 lower when compared the same day with a lender and DW's was actually 30 higher. Go figure.
