MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: My wife and I just had our first child and lugging a carseat in and out of our 2 door Honda Civics was a HUGE hassle (we both have the same type of car). We had been looking at purchasing a small Crossover/SUV but kept putting it off because of our credit score and I recently finished a rehab process on my SL's but wanted to wait until it was actually reflected on my credit reports. Long story short - I called CU and they denied me. Found a family member co-signer and we were going to go purchased next weekend. Decided to go test drive ahead of time, fellin love the the CR-V and decided to have them run my credit since the inquiry wouldn't go against me. They got me in to the car I wanted, payments $5 below my max and a shockingly low APR of 4.49%. I'm still baffled by that....
