Hello all,

 

I am new to the game and have been enjoying reading some of the posts on this site.

 

I have on several occasions called my credit card company (Chase) asking them to lower my apr rate.  I have even threatened to close and consolidate with another company.

 

They always tell me that they do not have any offers at this time and that I should try back at a later date.  It has become very frustrating as I am really trying to pay down my debt but the apr rate is making it very difficult. I really do not want to move my debt around as I don't want my fico score to get lower.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
