Congrats!! How long have you had the account and what kind of use did you give the card? Did you PIF or make payments?
Just curious because I got mine a few months ago with a $900 limit, but I will charge say $700 and send in a payment for $350 for example. Hoping that does the trick after some months to get a nice CLI as well.

I had the card exactly a year...started with a 300 limit then when they started reporting limits to the CR it was auto increased to 1000 ( i think it was back in July i believe). And thats exactly what i do...have charged quite a bit but paid it all in a couple of months after.

I think it use to be like that mmduluth...when i called i noticed their automated system had changed, it now gives you the option to request a credit limit increase...i entered my account, the last 4 digits of my social and then transfered me to a live CSR.

Just called Macy's and did like the above poster said: hit #3 for CLI and was transferred to a rep. I hate speaking to reps, but she was so nice. She verified basic info and then asked how much I would like
Oh, not to be greedy, I asked for 1500.00 up from 500.00. She then had to ask "other" questions based on my credit report and bam -- Approved!!
