Chase Freedom and Amazon purchases this quarter

In order to earn the 5%, do you have to buy from Amazon directly or is it ok if you purchase from a merchant through amazon's site? Has anyone already had some experience with this? Curious about what you have to say.

usually if its a seller on amazon it will process through amazon's merchant name

oh thats great, I can find almost everything on Amazon, what is the limit on 5% back?

You have to go through Chase's mall.

Wow, pretty good deal.  Sure makes it tempting, especially with the $200 promo.  With all these great offers, there's just no way to garden.

why do you have to go through chase mall for 5% cashback? its part of the bonus categories this quarter

You don't have to. The Freedom has its own 5% CB category. The mall is a different category on its own.
