First I'd like to thank this forum for the vast amount of helpful information that it has provided me. Also, I really appreciate the time that members take in answer the tons of questions I ask. I wouldn't be surprised if some are sick of me haha.

I was getting up to 3 pre-approval letters a week, but never had any pre-approvals online. I checked yesterday and 20+ approvals showed up online. I ended up choosing a $150 back after $1000 spent offer.(there was a $200 back offer)

I was approved for the Discover More card last night. I would like to share my approval info, hopefully it will help others in the future.

TU FICO:704 (02/28/12)

EQ FICO: 729 (04/09/12)

AAoA: 4 years exactly

Utilization: 1%

Inquiries(past 12 months): EX: 3, EQ: 0 TU: 0

Most recent baddies: string of 9 30 and 60 day lates in 2009. None since. No BK, CO etc.

Income: $45k + additional $3000

Cards: Capital One $1000, Capital One $1250, Chase Slate $750

It was an instant approval for an initial CL of $3500. It didn't show it on the initial approval screen. I had to "check my application status" online which I did 3 minutes later.

Called this morning to recon my CL. The rep said he couldn't do it because the account is already processed, and also couldn't change any of the terms. Told me to call back in 6 months for a CLI, but it would be a HP. Also said they pulled EQ, but said he wasn't allowed to give me the score.

My terms are 0% for 6 months on purchases and BT, 19.99% thereafter. $150 cashback after $1000 spent in 3 months.

Overall I'm happy that I got approved. This is one of the cards that I want in my portfolio, but its 3rd down my list. I'll be using this as a stepping stone for the CSP. I really wanted around $4500 CL but I can't always get what I want.
