Really, I was planning to take my first paycheck from my new (or old, hard to define when you're going back to work at a former employer) job and opening a Chase checking account and leaving BOFA after too many years in what I'm realizing is an abusive relationship with no long-term upside.
What's the fee structure associated with Chase? If I had access to any of Chase's credit products currently, and it were reasonable, I'd pay it happily (I have no issue with using my slush fund for silly FICO tricks) as monthly spend is a non-trivial factor for Amex which I'd absolutely like to get in 2012 rather than '13 or beyond.
