NAVchek Conditional Approval

My fiance just joined NFCU on Thursday, so today I decided to join via him as a household member. We took the plunge as joint applicants and got conditionally approved for 5k navcheck. They just want his last few paystubs and a bank statment (not hard to provide at all)!!! Sooo glad I learned about NFCU. I already love them and want to switch all of our banking to them.


Current: TU (Wal-Mart) 640 EQ (myFICO) 627 EX 628 as of 10/12
BK Discharged 08/10 (The dark times)
NavChek (5000) Cap1 (2500 & 1000) hhGregg (1500) Amazon (900) & WalMart (500) Lowes (300)

Goal: No apps until 07/2013 & 700's across the board

With NFCU, conditionally approved usually (not always) means "we're inclined to approve, but we need some more info to verify that all is as advertised."

 

As we discussed earlier, they tend to hard pull on everything, so if you intend to pursue other products with them (loans, credit card) IMO it's a good idea to apply for them at the same time / close to one another, so the inquiries all hit at the same time and age together. YMMV though.

Anytime. If you have existing cards with other lenders, they offer no fee balance transfers as well, which is a heck of a benefit in itself.
