Good point. I have always been surprised that I get instant approvals and not the FR during application process. However, it appears it takes a day or two for the system to FR me. It took 24 hrs for the member date to change from 2013 to my actual member date. So I think even though you get approved instantly there is still processing going on afterwards. Maybe if I were a borderline based on credit profile I would get FR during the process of the manual review.
