Mini app spree success (2 for 2)!

So I applied for both student versions of citi forward and discover it cards and was both approved!
Citi forward - $2500
Discover IT - $1000

Although I'm greatful for the approval, I feel like the discover limit should be higher. Has anyone had experiences with discover credit limit recons? How did it go for u?

Congrats on your mini app spree! Discover usually never gives a CLI at time of activation or recon. Wait the 6 months to get the auto CLI. They are usually really generous. But if you do get one keep us posted.

Congrats on the approvals. I agree your starting limit is kind of low. Maybe it's because you applied for student versions because both your FICO scores and limits on existing cards are pretty good.

Bleh, i just posted a thread last week asking if student cards would get me a lower credit limit =/ oh well i guess i have to wait 6 months

+1 just keep the balance low and you should see a bump at the 6 mo mark.

If you are under 21, you won't get a client from discover. Grats on the approvals and that forward will surely grow :smileyhappy:
