After three months hanging out here and learning from you folks, I now have 2 scores over 760.  :smileyvery-happy:
 
Two things seem to be factors in the score increase:
1.  Util dropped from 33% to 24%
2.  The number of accounts with balances dropped from 10 to 8.
 
I think I'm getting the hang of how this FICO stuff works now.
DH's FICOS: July '08 TU-661 / EQ-593 / EX-656 --> April '09 TU-730 / EQ-705 / EX-685

MY FICOS: July '08 TU-735 / EQ-727 / EX-767 --> April '09 TU-789 / EQ-774 / EX-767

It appears you will be well over 800 once you pay down the limits and get those cards reporting balances down. Congrats.

Joined the 700 club @ 12/07 & crosseed the High Achievers threshold this summer.  I've slipped some since my home seach, but investment and benefit of homeownership is well worth the hit.  Hope to get back soon after I start re-building with "new & improved" credit mix (close 10/08). 
 
Keep a lQQk out for me on the horizon...  :smileywink:

The last time I post on this website may very well be in this thread! After stressing over it so long, I may take a hike once I hit 760.
 
Unfortunately (or fortunately for you all!) I have very bad baddies on my report until at least 2011. So I'll be here a while. :smileyhappy:

I have to wait 4 more years till my major derog falls off to get to 800+ and 2 more years (???) till EQ goes over 760.
 
From someone who never cared about his credit score 1 year ago, once you start seeing real results, you will be hooked and as a classic rock band once said, you can checkout anytime but you can never leave.
 
Trust me, once your scores goe over 760, you'll be here for life.
