I have a new credit union visa w/ a fairly new local credit union.  I thought the csr who gave me the card said that they would take my payments automatically from checking acct.

Well, of course they didn't.  And of course I'm late.  On my first PAYMENT and on my new decent credit!! OH GOSH.  I found this out yesterday when reading the statement (Which I almost didn't even do!)

So anyway, I logged on and paid it via transfer, but boy oh boy, I'd be kicking my arse to heck and back if I hadn't have caught this.  It was only 15 days late or so, no late fees were added, I'm calling Monday just to make sure I'm good, but GEESH!

Just a friendly reminder to all of us to make sure of these things.  (It sure is a pain in the arse to take care of all of this, but easier than fixing it if we don't in the first place).  I practically had a heart attack.
