I am stuck at home, working from the comfort of my sofa (beats a sick day) and watching daytime tv while I'm working. Those "Western Sky" ads keep showing on Spike, so I looked them up. a 10k loan, nets the borrower 9925, payments of over 700 for 84 months.. almost 70% interest. it works out to paying back 64k for a 10k loan. and since it IS a reservation, they don't have to follow the same rules. Its painful to think people HAVE to turn to this predatory lending to survive. I'm glad you came here and found other options.

And since your topic involves personal loans, I'm going to move this thread over to the General Credit Topics board. As far as the progreso financeria loan, it is a little odd for me because it is aimed at the hispanic community and I am not hispanic and dont speak spanish. However, everyone has been very friendly and we laugh it off.
The loan comes on a debit card immediately or you can wait a week for a paper check. Im picking up the debit card tomorrow and they say you can take $500 cash out at a time.
I hope all goes well tomorrow.

Then as suggested, I went to progreso financerio and was approved for a $1600 loan within 10hours. Ill pay $140/month for 13 months. Total of $220 interest if I wait the 13 months. I cannot even believe I was almost THAT GUY who got trapped into the modern day loan sharks. I never once thought to myself that it was a good idea, so I know im not stupid, was just in a desparate spot.

My experian was 663 when they pulled it. They say they report to experian and TU.
They gave me a $1600 loan at 36% apr. Ends up being a little under $300 interest over the 13 month loan. They take $70 bi weekly. They say if you do well on paying your loan back on time then the next loan will be more money and less interest.
Overall, very nice experience. Very thankful
