Co Application Credit Cards

  My brother just filled out the application adding me on to an existing account as a co applicant.
Can anyone advise how long before I receive a card?  I need to know because the history on this card is 15 years and perfect.  And I due for a final credit check before closing in june. any assistance is appriciated.   TY

You can add an auth user and decline having a card issued...

You can add an auth user and decline having a card issued in that person's name.  I just added a friend but when it asked if I wanted a card issued in her name I said no.  I am willing to lend my history on the card just not the credit that comes with it.
